MINI - 01

MINI, 01 is an exploration of contrasts and textures, layers upon layers of acrylic on canvas that speak more through their silences than words. The central dark mass pulls in the eye, like a magnet to metal, with lighter, brighter strokes pushing against it from either side. I notice how the surface tells its own story, where some areas are scraped raw, others dripped and layered, revealing the journey of hesitation and revision. This piece feels contemplative, moody even, a quiet conversation between shades of black, dark blue, green, off-white, and yellow. The low contrast invites you to linger, to find your way through the tones and textures, each one a whisper in the room.
