Crimson Drift began as a simple experiment with brick red and cobalt blue, layers building upon each other like whispers of thought. The canvas surrendered to streaks of paint that moved diagonally across its surface, capturing a fleeting sense of balance and motion. Ochre yellow and white joined the dance, along with subtle touches of green and orange, creating high contrasts that echoed my inner turmoil and calm. As I layered brushwork, drips and smears became an integral part of the texture, each stroke revealing more about the process than the product. This acrylic painting on canvas is a quiet testament to the way colours can intertwine, much like memories and emotions. The canvas seems to breathe, its energy a silent echo of my own restless spirit.
