Why I created my own productivity tool called Milio

Everyone knows notion, clickup, monday.com, dropbox, slack, and many more.

They are all great, they all fulfil their purposes. However, for someone like me (who gets bored with a tool as soon as I have set it up properly) they are never enough. And, I hated the fact that I need 10+ different apps that also do not communicate with eachother. I wanted everything in one place. None of the tools I tested (and I have tested A LOT) gave me what I wanted.

So, with the introduction of vibe coding and bolt.new, this problem was something I could actually solve.

Endless hours (& credits) spent

Easier said then done, the mix of me wanting it to be perfect before I launch and the endless ideas and features in my head for Milio made it a bit of a mess. I have started 30+ projects on bolt.new that should have become the MVP for my idea, but everytime I was close to launch I started again. Why?

Not because I am crazy (I hope) but because I created the next version a step better each time. Also getting stripe payments to work was a pain in the butt to be honest.

Anyway, after countless errors fixed by the ai agent and chatpgt & my assistance the MVP was finished at a level I was confident to publish it live.

Explaining my app to you as simply as I can:

I wanted to create something that acted as your digital brain copy, where you could safely store all your thoughts, actions and reflections. For private but also business life. I wanted to bring clarity into the chaos (atleast in my head it is haha). Never worry again that you forgot something, because once you have quickly saved it inside Milio it won't get lost. And your ai assistant can remind you of it.

It is supposed to be the place where everything you want to capture, store and grow will happen.

What is the difference between my app and others?

Everything in one place. From tasks manager, files, calendar to your team messenger.

It is like dropbox, slack, notion, monday.com and pomodoro timer had a baby.

Fully customizable in terms of appearance and structure. Only show sections of the app you want to use and hide those you don't.

The ai assistant is the most powerful you will have ever met, because it is learning and growing with you and the data you have inside milio. You can limit or restrict the data your assistant can access at anytime, if you are concerned about privacy.

Some examples how it will make your life easier:

1. A colleague is going to vacation and forgot to give you her handover while she is gone? No problem, she can simply share a time limited access to her workspace for you, so you can find all her tasks and her data needed for you to take over.

2. The ai assistant reminds you to schedule an appoiment for your car tires to be changed before winter, as he read your calendar event from last year's appointment.
