Creating from Your Intuition, Not the Algorithm

It is easy to fall into the trap of creating for performance.

The likes. The reach. The clicks. The trend that is doing well right now.

But the moment you start asking what will work instead of what feels true, your creative energy begins to shift.

And not always in a good way.

I have learned that the work I am most proud of, the work that actually moves people, does not come from chasing the algorithm.

It comes from listening to my intuition.

Here is what that looks like in real life.

Start with the feeling, not the format

When I begin a project, whether it is a piece of clothing, a landing page, a song, or a blog post like this, I do not start by asking what platform it is for.

I ask myself:

What do I want this to feel like?

What do I want to say, even if no one claps for it?

That feeling becomes my compass. It guides the design, the tone, the pace, and the message.

Intuition creates longevity. Algorithms create anxiety.

Algorithms reward speed, sameness, and short-term spikes.

But your intuition is slower. It is honest. And it is timeless.

When you build from within, you create things that still feel good a year from now.

You do not burn out. You do not look back and cringe.

You grow deeper roots in your work, and your audience can feel that.

Do not optimize for trends. Optimize for truth.

I am not against data. I use it. But I do not let it decide everything.

Just because a certain video format or sound is trending does not mean it belongs in your work.

If it does not feel like you, skip it.

Your energy is more important than your reach.

Create like no one is watching, then invite them in

Some of my favorite projects began in complete privacy.

No goal. No brief. Just a quiet impulse to make something.

And when I finally shared them, people connected deeply.

Because when you create from your intuition, your work holds an energy that cannot be faked.

It resonates. And people feel it.

Final Thoughts

You do not need to go viral to matter.

You do not need to follow trends to be timeless.

You do not need to impress an algorithm to create something real.

When you create from your intuition, you create work that lasts.

Work that reflects who you are.

Work that speaks for itself.

And that is the kind of work that leaves a mark.
